"No matter how nice the jumper is, he wears the elbows through in a year.  It drives me nuts.  I stopped buying nice jumpers, but they really have a nicer yarn than high street.  Lucky I saved the worn ones as now they're all patched.  And a good elbow patch gives sex appeal.  It's a thing."
