Japanese cotton Shirt in Pinot.

This shirt. When the weather warms, it's all we wear. 

The cotton is featherweight, yet compact.  Floating with structure.
It's Japanese, masters of perfected heritage cloth.

It's summer; we wanted simplicity.
So we cut the collar. A thin shred of a raw hem remains.
Our favourite cotton grosgrain peeks through the placket.
And, as always, every seam is finished inside and out.

We made this shirt as half of a non-dress.  The thing you throw on every day in the summer, relaxed or smart.  Simple, comfortable, perfect.  But not a dress.
The other half, or halves - are a skirt, or a pant.  We loved both, so they both stay.
